Limiting diamond ore spawn, we want new players to be able to catch up to old ones easily, this would do the opposite.

For the mobs, we can have a mob arena at /warp mob where factions fight over the drops and xp. The drops can be sold at spawn for money.

In response to removing damage reduction, that's something I've never thought of and it is a good idea. However, I feel like it should be reduced to something like 10% or 5% rather than scrapping it altogether.

In response to the xpbank, great idea, the xpbank has been very glitchy for me (when I changed my name and it also got blown up.) It also makes it more convenient for use. I don't feel like trading xp would be a good thing as only donor's would be able to give it out.

In response to removing the kits, I feel like this is a big no no. If you have a look at chrid's posts he makes a good argument about buffing the kits, minecraft has changed right now if someone who played on other servers saw our donation benefits they would laugh.

Looking at the market ideas... no thanks. We should have an adminshop and we should expand what we can sell at the adminshop for example farmables. We want more money in circulation not less. For interest... why? It just increases the gap between new and old player and it makes people scared to buy stuff. Market plugin: no thanks. It makes people focus on the wrong stuff. We don't want this to be an economic server. We want the rush from killing someone in god gear or lockpicking a chest full of diamonds. It just complicates things for no good reason. Trading booths: ok good idea but don't remove the scamming rule it'll reduce the amount of money/items flowing between players as people will be scared to trade. Also if you are not known in the community no one will want to trade with you. Login bonus: good idea just crack down on the alt accounts/make the ban longer to scare people more. For the hourly bonus, we don't want a server full of afks :/ Daily challenges are a good idea but make them something anyone can do. For example complete the parkour at spawn.

For the raiding, I feel like you are for sure pushing it in the wrong direction. Raiding shouldn't be high risk high reward, we want to encourage it not stop people from doing it. Make obsidian indestructable underwater are you kidding me? So far no big faction has been raided by tnt cannon then lockpicked (except for zulu but we all know what happened there.) We want raids to be easier so people have to defend their bases or lose their stuff. Make tnt purchasable for everyone, sure also lower the price drastically so people won't be afraid to spend x amount of $ just to attempt a raid. Faction warps, no thanks. Tpa is a lot easier and is what people are expecting. We don't want new players to come on and be overwhelmed, not knowing how this server works at all. And no one wants to read a wall of text to figure out how. Just add tpa with a cooldown and disable it in faction's land.

In response to server events, we don't need to make them themed, just interesting. Three good examples; faction wars, king of the hills and 1v1 tournaments. For faction wars, all factions would be thrown into an arena with x amount of people per faction(the people who aren't participating can spectate.) Each player would bring their own gear and keep what they loot if they survive. No alliances or pacts. Last faction standing wins. The arena would have to be pretty big so maybe something like 150x150 with lots of different terrain. Each participating faction member in the winning faction should get a p4 unbr 3 set with a sharp 5. For king of the hills same sort of idea. All factions thrown into an arena with x players per faction. No alliances still. In the center of the arena there would be a shrine or building. The faction that holds the shrine for x amount of time wins. Each member participating in the winning faction is rewarded. The 1v1 tournament would be pretty simple, bring your own gear keep what you kill. The winner could get something like a $10 redeemable rank at the store. For the donor sales, we should limit them maybe only at the start of resets or only during big holidays like easter or christmas. We don't want people to wait to donate only during sales.

For the community post every week, thank you! We need this to have the communication between the staff and players.

For the mob arena, I have talked about this a lot before and I stand by my idea. We could have a /warp mob or something like that which would drop you down into an arena. In the arena there are a bunch of spawners and you can sell the loot that you get to the admin shop(or keep it.) Factions would have to fight for control of the mob arena for the xp and loot/$.

For the arenas, making the arena bigger would be amazing, also make it variable in terrain not just a symmetrical pit. Let it have hills, buildings, rivers, bridges etc. A 1v1 arena would be amazing as well, where you can duel a player that you ask. You would bring your own gear and the winner would keep the loser's gear.

For potions, I'm fine with whatever but no strength please.

For compasses, it's pointlessly complicated. Just add /whereis.

I don't want the server to be a copy or a mash up between what other faction servers offer, I want the server to be unique with our own branded flavor. I feel that the community right now is unimaginative when it comes to offering new ideas, instead they just suggest things that the most popular servers have right now. I don't care if what you suggest is what makes those bigger servers popular, if we just become a copy of our competitors then why would anyone play on Novia?

You mean where they cheated to get into the base and then took the stuff?

The admin shop is what takes money out of circulation. When you buy from the admin shop, the money you give to the admin shop goes nowhere. If we remove the admin shop, players have the opportunity to sell anything with their own prices and also gives the GE more purpose.

The only thing the admin shop should keep available would be raiding equipment.

Fuck obsidian being unbreakable, thats the most stupid thing in the world. Otherwise make the map be the world map like it was suggested numerous times on novs.

Who wants the server to be like others? no one, but in order for us to survive I think we need to take little bits of these Ideas and change them to our like and make them unique in our way. It will add new things to our server while having a hint of what is good in other server, unfortunately we dont have the money to advertise the shit out of what we will and hope people like it. We need to take little bits of ideas that people already like and change them to be better, and morphed into our balanced gameplay. And we obviously wont just copy other ideas, we will change them to how we think they could be better, thats why people will play Novia. Because we take what is good about factions and make it better. Otherwise Im putting a post up sometime today on what I think the server should go towards, read it and tell me what you think. Thanks.

With the compass idea maybe just adding how far away the person the compass is 'locked onto' is. Please make sure that /chest is disabled in combat and maybe even in enemy territory though
